Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, and the message you send us.
- Analytics and cookies: pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, device and browser type, and similar technical data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Support and email: the contents of messages you send to our team, including any attachments.
How we use information
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the website and our tools.
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can make it better.
- To protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Cookies
We use cookies for basic site functionality and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if you do.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Resend — delivering email from our contact form and support mailbox.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of 26T1, our users, or the public.
Retention
We keep contact form submissions and support emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business and legal recordkeeping, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained for a limited period and then aggregated or deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@26t1.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings.
Children
26T1 is a business tool for tax professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Google API Services and YouTube
26T1 operates the YouTube channel "26t1 Tax" and uses YouTube API Services solely to upload and manage videos on its own channel. We do not use YouTube API Services to collect or process data about other users or channels.
By using our YouTube channel features, users are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
26T1's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy).
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to perform the upload and management actions you authorize.
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the features you request.
- You can revoke 26T1's access to your Google Account at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
